We have the
task of designing and building a Cartesian robot for the trimming of bakelite,
which will feature 3 axes X, Y, Z for its movements in the plane. I will
manipulated from a computer.
During this
first part is designed and tested the prototype arming to meet the requirements
of teachers (Cartesian Robot). It worked equally for the preparation of the
document and the presentation of the development of activities during this
period.
My
participation was to help in the different activities. From start to contribute
ideas on the design of the prototype as well as special materials which need to
be most effective when performing orderly.
So far it
has been decided the design, materials, sizes and parts of our project. In
addition to our control system will work with the program c ++ builder, and
will be connected to the prototype through parallel port.
Team
members were heavily engaged in different tasks developed to meet agreed
deadlines.
In the
construction of the prototype work was to assemble the machine and create their
parts with steel tubular aluminium and rods threaded through the construction
helped weld the parts that would the robot X, Y, Z axes and the placement of
the engines and the test with them had several problems with the Assembly which
were solved with adjustments to the engine and also inquired about the circuit
of power for motors of which We chose the transistors they handled a better
voltage and there is no risk in addition to using a power source to feed
movement of the motors on each axle since it provides the voltage necessary to
work at their maximum capacity
Control use
a program in c ++ builder that converts the coordinates via a code in pulses to
create a figure and send it to the arduino that read the pulses and converts
them in turns of the engines which arrive at the circuit and sends them
directly to the engines to rotate until the marked coordinate, in conclusion
thanks to our teamwork could learn how to control engines manufacture the parts
of all the robot and program it to base help us also to solve the problems that
were occurring throughout the semester and also working with us and check our
hypothesis that we set at the beginning of the semester was the right
